Snow removal questions
Residential driveways in Moncton North. Compare plans on the snow removal plans page, or sign up for this winter.
Plans and pricing
What is the difference between Premium and Economy?
Premium keeps your driveway open all storm long. Our tractors head out when the city sends out its road crews and clear your driveway every time the road plow passes your street, day or night, followed by a final clean-up once the storm is over. Economy is a single complete clear once the city crews have finished with the roads. Both plans cover the whole winter.
Do I pay per storm or for the season?
You pay one price for the whole season, plus tax, no matter how many storms the winter brings. Current prices for both plans are on the snow removal plans page.
When does the season run?
Our snow removal season runs from November 1 to April 1.
Does a bigger driveway cost more?
Most driveways in town are one flat price. In rural subdivisions, like Rural Estates, driveways are priced by size. If you share one large driveway with a neighbour, each property gets a small discount.
Can I spread out my payments?
Yes. A deposit is due when you sign up, and the remaining balance can be split into three equal payments. We accept cash, cheque, and credit card. A processing fee applies to credit card payments.
Is there a better price if I sign up early?
Yes. Early-season pricing is available until November 1. Existing customers also get first access to an exclusive offer before booking opens to the public each season.
Do you offer a rate if my neighbours sign up too?
We do. When neighbours sign up together, we offer group and street rates. Send us a message with the addresses and we'll tell you what we can do.
Do I need to sign up again every year?
Yes. Customers sign up for each new season. Existing customers get first access to sign up, with an exclusive offer, before booking opens to the public.
What happens if I move during the winter?
Your service can be transferred to the new homeowner, so the rest of the season isn't lost.
Service area
Where do you clear driveways?
Residential driveways in Moncton North. We keep our routes tight on purpose so our tractors are never far from your home. Look up your street on the service area page to see which plans are available to you.
Do you service Riverview, Dieppe, or other parts of Moncton?
Not at this time. In 2025 we brought our full fleet home to Moncton North so every customer gets the same level of service.
Do you clear commercial lots or parking lots?
No. Our snow removal is residential only. We sold our commercial division in 2021 to focus fully on homeowners.
During a storm
Why don't you clear my driveway before the city plow comes by?
Because the city plow would just fill the end of your driveway right back in. We follow behind the city crews instead, so the heavy pile the road plow leaves at the end of your driveway gets cleared too.
How much snow has to fall before you come out?
There's no set amount. We go out when the city sends out its road crews, so if the city is clearing your street, we're clearing your driveway.
When will Economy clear my driveway?
Economy driveways are cleared once, after the snow has stopped and within 12 hours of the city crews finishing with the roads. There is no return visit for a clean-up.
How will I know what to expect on a storm day?
On the day of a storm, we send out an action plan so you know what to expect and when.
What is the post-storm clean-up?
Once the city crews are done, Premium driveways get one more visit to tidy everything up. It's the best time to move your vehicles out of the way so we can give the whole driveway a final clean.
What if my car is in the driveway when the tractor comes?
Our operator will clear around it. If you're on Premium, move your vehicles out before the post-storm clean-up so we can clear the whole driveway. Economy is a one-time clear with no clean-up visit, so it happens whether or not a vehicle is in the driveway.
How do I know when my driveway has been cleared?
Open the live tractor tracker to watch our fleet work through your neighbourhood. You can also opt in to driveway alerts by text or email and choose which alerts you want. Alerts are opt-in only, so you only get what you ask for.
What if my driveway gets missed?
Every driveway on a route is loaded on the iPad in the tractor. If one is skipped, the system flags it on the spot and a tractor is sent straight back. If you ever think we missed you, contact our support team and they'll look into it right away. Premium customers get priority support.
Your driveway and our equipment
What equipment do you use on driveways?
Every residential driveway is cleared by a tractor with a snow blower. We run the largest fleet of hybrid blowers in Moncton, and some of our machines are equipped with live edge blades that flex to follow the ground for a closer clear.
Do you clear walkways, steps, or sidewalks?
No. Our service covers your driveway only.
Do you salt or sand driveways?
Yes, as an add-on. Ask us to add it to your plan.
Will snow get piled up against my garage door or steps?
No. Our hybrid blowers pull snow away from garage doors and steps instead of leaving a pile behind. A closer clear also means less snow and ice build-up, and your driveway melts off faster.
I have a gravel driveway. Will you throw gravel on my lawn?
Every route has a hybrid blower equipped with a gravel packer. Instead of blowing the snow and the gravel with it, it packs the snow down onto the gravel so your driveway and lawn stay tidy.
Why do you put markers in my driveway?
Every driveway we service is marked so our operators can find your home and see the edges and obstacles, even under a fresh snowfall. Our crew puts the markers in during November and takes them out in the spring. Markers are included with every plan.
What if something gets damaged?
Let our support team know, and send photos if you can. If our equipment caused the damage, we'll fix it.
Support and your account
Will I talk to a real person when I call?
Yes. Our support team is part of our family office, not a call centre, and they answer every call and email. They see the same live map our operators use, so they can answer questions on the spot.
Can I see my service history?
Yes. Our customer portal brings your service history, notes, photos, and live tractor tracking together in one place.
Can I give feedback on a visit?
Please do. You can rate every visit and leave a review, and each one is tied to the operator who cleared your driveway. Your feedback goes straight to our team.
Are you insured?
Yes. We are fully insured.
Excavation
Excavation questions
Homes and light commercial properties across Southeast New Brunswick. Ready to talk about your project? Book a free on-site estimate.
Getting started
How do I get a price for my project?
Send us a message or fill out the estimate form. We usually come out within a few days to walk your property with you, then give you a clear quote before any work starts. The on-site estimate is free.
Do I need to be home for the estimate?
Yes, we'd like you there so we can walk the property together and talk through what you have in mind. You don't need to be home while we do the work.
How soon can you start?
It depends on the season. Spring and summer book up fastest, so reach out early if you have a date in mind.
Why can't you just give me a price over the phone?
Because no two properties are the same. Soil, slope, access for the machines, and how much material is needed all change the job. We scope every project to your property and what you need, so the price you get is one we can stand behind.
Do you take a deposit?
On larger jobs, we take a deposit to book your project, with the balance due when the work is done. We accept cash, cheque, and credit card.
What areas do you cover?
Southeast New Brunswick, including Westmorland, Albert, and Kent counties.
Do you work for businesses?
Yes. We work for homeowners and light commercial customers like small businesses and rental properties.
Are you insured?
Yes. We are fully insured.
During and after the job
Do you check for buried lines before digging?
Always. We book utility locates before we put a shovel in the ground and plan your start date around them.
Do I need to get a permit?
No. If your project needs permits, we take care of them.
Do you work in the winter?
Some jobs, yes, weather allowing. We'll let you know during the estimate whether your project is a good fit for winter or should wait for spring.
What if your machines damage my driveway or lawn getting to the job?
We plan how we'll get to the work area during the estimate, so the route is worked out before we arrive. If we cause damage, we'll make it right.
What will my lawn look like when you leave?
We leave the ground rough graded, smooth and sloped the right way. Topsoil and seeding are not included, but we can add them to your quote.
What happens to the trees and brush when you clear land?
It's your choice. We can haul it away, mulch it, bury or burn it on site, or leave it for you as wood. Each option is priced differently, and we'll go over them with you during the estimate.
Can you supply fill, gravel, or topsoil?
Yes. We haul fill, gravel, and topsoil. Tell us what you're working on and we'll help you figure out what you need and how much.
Drainage and wet basements
What makes your drainage systems different?
We build them to last. That means heavy-duty pipe most contractors don't use, trenches prepared so the pipe stays clear, and an access point at the surface on every system so it can be serviced for years without digging it back up.
My basement is leaking. Where do you start?
We start by finding out what's really going on, with a camera inspection or by flushing the existing drain tile. From there it might be a spot repair or a full perimeter replacement, and we add a waterproof membrane to the foundation wall when we rebuild.
Can you fix a drainage system someone else installed?
Yes. We're often called in to replace systems that have stopped working, and we rebuild them to the same standard as everything we install.
What kinds of drainage work do you do?
Regrading, ditches and swales, French drains, culverts, downspout and sump lines, and dry wells. We'll walk the property with you to find where the water is coming from before recommending anything.
Do you install septic systems?
No. Septic work isn't something we offer.
Equipment rentals
Can I rent a machine?
Yes. Rent the machine on its own or with one of our operators. You can pick it up or have it delivered for an extra charge.
Is my rental booked as soon as I send the request?
Your request holds your dates. Our office then confirms the booking with you and takes payment.
