Snow removal, explained.

A short walkthrough of how we clear your driveway, from the route in the cab to the text that says you're done.

How it works

How a storm actually goes

From the first forecast to the last clean-up, this is how Premium works through a storm. Economy is one complete clear after the city is finished, with no clean-up visit.

  1. 01

    We watch the weather

As a storm approaches, we monitor the forecast, alert crew and staff, and get equipment ready.

  2. 02

You get a plan for the day

On the day of the storm, we send you an action plan so you know what to expect.

  3. 03

    We follow the city crews

When the city starts clearing the roads, we follow on our routes and service driveways as road snow gets pushed into them.

  4. 04

We stay out until the city does

Crews work around the clock until the city stops, coming back every time they pass your street.

  5. 05

Then we do a clean-up round

Once the city crews are finished, we come back once more for a final clean of the whole driveway. Please move your cars out of the driveway once the storm has ended so we can clear it edge to edge.

  6. 06

    You can follow along

Watch the live map during the storm, and opt in to a text or email alert when your driveway is done.
